Actually, I took the idea for the title from "Cry to Heaven" written by Anne Rice in 1982, a brilliant historical novel about "the castrati" set in 18th Century Rome, Venice, and Naples.<BR/><BR/>The Hmong people featured in these reports are presumably animist or Bhuddist, therefore "heaven" would have a different meaning for them than for people of Christian, Judaeic or Islamic faiths. Bhuddists believe in many heavens all of which are part of Samsara (see Bhuddist cosmology, the Six Realms).<BR/><BR/>These desperate Hmong tribes trapped and being hunted down in the highland jungles of Laos are obviously living in a type of Hell.
